Finally did this meme. Stolen from many people, basically my flist. Promised
mr_redrum that I would get to it, and I found the time :D It was fun, you guys should try it. Writing the entire drabble within the time limit was hard!
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Put iTunes or equivalent media player on random.
3. For each song that plays, write something related to the theme you picked inspired by the song. You have only the time frame of the song: no planning beforehand: you start when it starts, and no lingering afterward; once the song is over, you stop writing. (No fair skipping songs either; you have to take what comes by chance!)
4. Do 5 of these, then post.
[Accidentally In Love – Counting Crows] 3:08
He wasn’t sure when it had happened, but his feelings changed. It had started out as a fuck-buddy relationship; relieve some stress for mutual satisfaction. For reasons he couldn’t fathom, it had turned into something more, without him even realizing it.
Zoro let his head thunk back to rest against the mast and stared across the deck at Sanji. The cook was serving a fruity drink mix to the ladies, fawning over them and basking in their company. Tucking the tray under one arm, he turned away from them and caught the other man’s eye. His face lit up with a smile so genuine that it tugged at Zoro’s heart, and he suddenly couldn’t breathe.
Gathering all of the courage he could muster, he smiled back. Small, but there.
[Alcohol – Brad Paisley] 4:42
His vision blurred, and he lurched to the side, his mug barely landing on the edge of the table. Some of the beer sloshed over the side during the violent motion, and sloshed down onto his boot. Forgetting it was there two seconds after he registered it, Zoro brought the drink back up to his lips and took a large gulp, most of it managing to land down his throat.
Setting it back down with the exaggerated care of the drunk, he peered around the room at his nakama. Luffy was passed out on top of Usopp, both of them lightweights and were finished after the first couple of rounds. Sanji was blearily staring at the table, reaching for his beer several inches to the left from where it actually was, and Nami was the only one still able to drink without causing an accident of some kind. Zoro gave her a mandatory glare, and his eyes landed on Sanji of their own accord.
The cook looked a little frustrated, his eyebrow curling tighter as he put more effort into snatching his evasive drink. His movements became more focused, his entire concentration on that section of the table less than a foot from his mug. Sanji’s right hand darted out into the empty space, swiping at air and almost tugging his body forward with its momentum.
A look of surprise flashed across his face, and he barely caught himself before face-planting into the wood. As he righted himself again, Zoro couldn’t help but notice that the irritated, slightly confused frown-face he had on was adorable, and he sighed.
When the cook made him think things like adorable, he needed more alcohol. Zoro stared resignedly into his mug, pulling it up for another sip.
[Animals – Nickelback] 3:05
Nails raked down his back, dragging his unbuttoned shirt to his waist and catching it on his elbows. His hands cradled Zoro’s face, kissing him in a clash of teeth and tongues, violent and possessive. The swordsman gave as good as he got, tugging the blonde closer and wrapping one strong arm around his slim body, his other hand shoved unceremoniously down Sanji’s pants.
Sanji moaned at the delicious pressure on his cock, and he pushed up into the other man’s body, silently begging for more. His hands traveled across broad shoulders, landing on Zoro’s waist and yanking his t-shirt up off of his head. Zoro grunted when it caught on his arms, and grudgingly removed his hand to throw the shirt across the cabin.
Whimpering at the loss of friction, Sanji pumped his hips against Zoro, desperately craving more of him. Zoro groaned, a long, drawn out, wonderful sound when their erections pressed together. The noise shot straight to his groin, and Sanji could’ve sworn he hardened even more.
Zoro captured his lips again and he let him, kissing until they weren’t anymore, panting into each others mouths. Rutting against each other like wild beasts, they thrust and humped and clashed until, with a keening cry, Sanji came, hot liquid spreading across his pants and sending Zoro over the edge. With a final grunt, the swordsman rode out the aftershocks, both of them still clinging to each other.
[Anything You Can Do – John Barrowman and Ruthie Henshall] 3:49
When Sanji had challenged the swordsman to this contest, he hadn’t thought of this particular outcome. Nor had he supposed that Zoro could be so forward.
Of course, he knew that there would be a point where they would have to prove their worthiness, determine who was better. He just hadn’t figured on Zoro lunging across the table in the galley and kissing him. With tongue.
Of course, he couldn’t let him win. That was pretty much a given; one of them had to come out on top.
Figuratively speaking, anyway. Sanji liked it both ways. Smirking, he sunk deeper into the kiss, and subtly directed them towards something better.
[Wintersong – Sarah McLachlan] 3:25
Sanji woke with a feeling of contentment, opening his eyes to gaze out of the porthole onto a snow-white deck, the sound of whooping laughter and indignant yelling echoing from outside. No doubt their excitable captain had been overjoyed with the fresh snowfall, and the significance of this day, dragging other crewmembers into his mayhem.
Burrowing deeper into the nest of blankets, Sanji felt two warm arms encircle his waist from behind, linking at his stomach and tugging him back. He went willingly, reveling in the warmth and comfort, and the fact that their nakama loved them enough to give them this.
“Merry Christmas, Sanji.” Zoro’s baritone rumbled, sleep-thick and happy, and Sanji felt the vibrations all the way up his spine.
The perfect present.
